3 Important Cloudflare Settings for WordPress Blog
Okay, that’s good news, that you are using Cloudflare CDN for your WordPress blog. It will definitely improve performance and security of your WordPress blog. I am assuming that you have already changed your nameservers to Cloudflare nameservers for your domain name. After successful propagation of your nameservers, Cloudflare will show the Active status for your website. Now open your Cloudflare settings page and do the following 3 important Cloudflare settings for WordPress.
1. First go to the DNS settings page and change all Gray Cloud icon to Orange Cloud icon before A type record of your domain name, as shown in below image:
Even you can change all Gray Cloud to Orange for all DNS records to accelerated and protected by Cloudflare.
2. Now go to the Crypto settings page to set the right SSL certificate for you. If you are already using SSL certificate from your hosting provider for example Bluehost, then you should use Full. As Cloudflare already providing SSL for all plans. But if you are not using any SSL certificate from your hosting provider then you should choose Flexible option.
